Spring wedding at Green Haven Golf Course | Kelsey & Max

Happy first anniversary to the Baumgartners! I still look back on Kelsey and Max’s wedding with such fondness. They met during their freshman year at NDSU, got engaged in 2019, and were planning to get married in August of 2020 until the pandemic forced them to reschedule. After almost a year of waiting, May 15, 2021 arrived and it was perfect: sunny, seventy degrees, blue skies with puffy clouds, crabapple trees in bloom, and full of joy for this sweet couple. Everyone in attendance was just thrilled to finally celebrate them, especially their bridal party! There wasn’t a moment when one of them wasn’t beaming at the bride and groom.

Green Haven was a beautiful venue—golf course weddings always end up being some of my favorites! The rolling hills, open spaces, and tall evergreens meant we had no shortage of interesting spots for all our outdoor photos, and when it came time for golden hour—MAN we had a gorgeous location!! Kelsey & Max’s golden doodle joined us for a few of those photos and I think they ended up being everyone’s favorites.
