Winter Como Park Engagement Session | Katie & Drew

During our initial meeting, Katie told me she and Drew wanted an elegant winter engagement session, noting “the more snow, the better!” Como Park immediately came to mind. With its giant evergreens and beautiful buildings, it’s the perfect blend of nature and architecture. It’s also one of the few parks that offers this much green during the snowy months, so I knew it would coordinate beautifully with her emerald green dress and Drew’s neutral sweaters. We explored the main park area around the Conservatory as well as the Lakeside Pavilion and the Historic Streetcar Station, all of which offered big windows and stunning shades of green.

Katie and Drew both work at the Mayo Clinic and drove up from Rochester for the shoot! In September, I get to venture to their stomping grounds for their wedding in a gorgeous historic inn. With their lighthearted personalities and easygoing dynamic, their day is sure to be relaxed and joyful in all the right ways.
